Sean Lee started his musical career at the age of sixteen. He had very specific training on 'belting' and 'proper breathing technique' in Toronto, Canada, from 1984 - 1993. Sean also began studying guitar and Martial Arts at the same age. After studying 'Sound Engineering' in 1993, In 1994 Sean attended a full time guitar course in Hollywood for eighteen months, 'sharpening' his skills as a musician. Since then, as of 2007, Sean has taught more than 'fifteen hundred private students' at his school on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, California: The Voice Mechanic. Sean has been featured in the same episode as Paul McCartney on Oprah's Oxygen Network entitled "As She See's It" , featured on Japanese TV: Asahi TV, and had his music spotlighted on MTV. Sean recently performed duties as 'sound engineer' for the band 'Step One' at the prestigious Twentieth Anniversary of "Matrix - Institute On Addictions" in November, 2004 on the rooftop patio of The Sheraton Universal Hotel Los Angeles, with such people in attendance as Martin Sheen, U. S. Senator Barbara Boxer etc., etc. Sean has performed Vocal solo's (including The Star Spangled Banner) on stage in front of two thousand + people on occasions. Sean has also filmed, recorded, acted in and edited numerous music video's, music albums, TV commercials, movie trailers, demo reels etc. and is proudly endorsed by Sony Media Software. Sean's clients range from 'Critically Acclaimed Movie Producers, to Doctors, Lawyers, Actors, Multi-Platnumn Artist Managers, Artists, School Teachers, Sport Announcers etc., etc. Sean is currently playing lead guitar in his band named 'MIWA' in and around Hollywood with one of his top rock singers: Miwa, and teaching voice on Melrose. Recently, Sean was called to the set of the FX TV series:"Overthere" to teach the soldiers how to 'SCREAM' without losing their voices and be able to work the next day! |
